Choose how you want to use LOUD.
Windows launcher
- Download the installer.
Choose the Windows edition on the downloads page.
- Install and open LOUD.
Run the installer, then open the launcher.
- Sign in and play.
Use your Microsoft account, select a Minecraft version, and launch.
Fabric mod
- Set up Fabric.
Use the official Fabric installer for your Minecraft version.
- Add the LOUD mod.
Download the JAR and place it in that installation’s
modsfolder. - Launch with Fabric.
Use a supported Minecraft version and avoid installing duplicate copies of LOUD.

Which Minecraft versions can I use?
The LOUD launcher supports 1.8.9, 1.21.* and 26.*. The Fabric edition supports 1.21.* and 26.*. Select a matching version for your mod installation.
How do I open the ingame menus?
Press Right Shift to open LOUD. You can change shortcuts in the client’s keybind settings.
Do I need a Minecraft account?
Yes. You need a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition.
Why are the downloads locked?
Downloads open on 10 October 2026 at 20:00 Amsterdam time (CEST). The buttons will become available automatically while the page is open.
How do I use voice chat?
Open the voice menu with V, join a server, and connect voice. Set your microphone, output device and push-to-talk key in its settings. Other participants also need LOUD voice.
